This is a collage I created in tribute to my father. Integrated into the image is the flag presented to my Mother when my father passed, maps of flights he took, a 1918 letter of thanks from King George for participation in WW1, his finger prints and aviator license.
My father was the 235 USNR licensed Naval Reserve pilot and was actively flying in 1917. His original pilot's license, a log book, photos and memorabelia are part of an aviation collection my mother and other family members helped preserve. It has historical significance and a personal endeavor of mine is to archive the items so they can take their place in aviation history.
